Art Krulitz, Director of Transportation for the Kellogg School District encourages all patrons who live within the districts attendance zone to pay close attention in the 2004– 2005 bus schedule. All routes within the district are subject to change within the first few days. If you have questions, please call transportation at 784-0061.

AM BUS SCHEDULE

BUS NO 9  - OLD SIDE RIVER ROAD

Bus departs the garage at 6:10 travels to Silver Creek. Pick up of grades K – 12 begin at 6:50. The bus travels the old side of the river. Stopping in the Bauman Addition area arriving at Pinehurst School by 7:35. Grades K – 5 are unloaded. Bus then departs for Pioneer Lodge on to the Middle and Senior High Schools in Kellogg arriving at 7:50.

BUS NO 6 – NEW SIDE RIVER ROAD – EAST RIVERVIEW RD

Bus departs the garage at 6:15 travels up the new side of the river to Coal Creek. Picking up grades K – 12 beginning at approximately 6:55. This bus stops at Bear Creek/River Rd intersection, Enaville Resort at 7:20 then turning on *east River View Road at 7:25 (North side of Kingston; Old Kingston High School). Arriving at 7:30 in front of Pinehurst School for the unloading of grades K – 5.  Loading  6 – 12 grades proceeding to  Middle and High Schools arriving at 7:40.

BUS NO 15: NORTH DOYLE - ROSE LAKE AREAS

Bus departs Cataldo area at 6:10 and travels to the upper end of North Doyle Road where pick up of grades K – 12 begins. The bus then travels back out to Highway #3 and continues on to Rose Lake, Rose Creek area where it turns around at the mouth of Kilarney Lake Road.  The route then starts the return to Cataldo stopping at Bull Run Bridge at 6:45. Traveling back down Highway 3 to Rose Lake junction, Service Creek, Fern Creek, School House Loop, Canyon Road and Cataldo. Transfer of students to Bus No. 23 and No.25 for their trip into Kellogg & Pinehurst areas. This bus then repeats the route for pick up of K – 5th grade students arriving at Canyon School by 8:00.

BUS NO. 25  TAMARACK RIDGE – SOUTH DOYLE ROAD

Bus departs garage area at 6:15 for pickup of grades 6 – 12. The bus travels into South Doyle Road through the loop to Meadow Road. From here the bus goes over Tamarack Ridge via Hardy Loop on into Cataldo where interchanging of buses takes place. (Transfer takes place at 7:20) Grades K – 8 will transfer to Bus No.23  This bus then continues into Kellogg with 6 –12 grades arriving by 7:45

BUS NO 12  LATOUR CREEK – CATALDO

At 6:15 the bus leaves garage area and travels to upper Latour Creek turning around at intersection of Baldly & Latour Creek at 6:55 picking up all grades coming back down. Traveling into the Cataldo Gulch area then on to Cataldo at 7:20. Interchanging with the ridge bus. This bus then travels to Hardy Loop, Tamarack Ridge, S. Doyle Road and Highway #3 for grades 1 – 5  arriving at Canyon School by 8:00. Bus will then return to garage.

BUS NO. 23  - CATALDO – PINEHURST – KELLOGG

Bus No.23 leaves the garage at 6:45 by way of SilverValley Road, going over Hill Top on to Cataldo by Canyon Road. Arriving at Cataldo by 7:05 waiting for the transfer of students from Latour Creek, Tamarack and Rose Lake area all 6th grade students are to ride this bus. 7:20 the bus will depart for Pinehurst School via Canyon and Silver Valley Roads. Loading K – 6 grades. Arriving at Pinehurst School by 7:35 unloading K –5: loading 6 – 12 grades for their trip to Kellogg Middle and Senior Schools by 7:50

BUS NO. 27 – PINECREEK – FAIRWAY HEIGHTS

Bus departs garage at 6:40 and travels to east fork Pinecreek and the upper end of the West Fork of Pinecreek where pickup of grades K – 12 begins at 7:00. The bus then travels back down Pinecreek picking up additional students. The bus continues into Pinehurst drops students off at Pinehurst School then loops over Fairway Heights. Traveling to Pinehurst School (2nd drop at PHS) arriving at 7:30 for the unloading of students K –5. Loading additional 6 – 12 grades before continuing to Kellogg Middle and Senior Schools arriving at 7:45   

BUS NO. 21 – PAGE – SMELTERVILLE – LADHE HILL

Bus departs garage at 7:05 to loop over Page Hill for pickup of K –12 grades. Leaving Page Hill the bus returns to Smelterville for pickup of grades K – 5. Once in Smelterville this bus turns on “D” Street to Northview stopping at the old Church.  Continues to ‘A’ Street stopping at city park. Crosses Main Street, on to Washington Street stopping in the 400 block area proceeds on to ‘K’ Street stopping for students living at the Lone Star Trailer Court. Once loaded, the bus then travels on to Pinehurst arriving  Ladhe Hill/Vet’s Road about 7:20 loading all grades. On to Pinehurst School arriving at 7:30. Loops back to Smelterville where grades 6 – 12 are loaded on ‘K’ Street, Main Street and Smelterville City Park. Arriving at Kellogg Middle and Senior Schools at 7:45

*BUS NO 24 – WEST RIVERVIEW KINGSTON (OLD SIDE)

FAST HILL –  HILL TOP - HUNT GULCH  -  LUOMA  

ADDITION - FRENCH GULCH   

Bus departs garage at 6:45 for pick up of grades K – 12 the bus travels to Kingston turnoff where it proceeds down Riverview Road stopping Fasthill crosses Hilltop over Pass and into Hunt Gulch arriving at the turnaround at 7:03. Once loaded the bus then travels down SilverValley Road stopping at Luoma Addition continues into French Gulch arriving at the turnaround at Drummond Peak at 7:15. The bus then travels to Pinehurst School unloading grades K –5, reloading grades 6 – 12 at approximately 7:35. Traveling into Kellogg for drop-off of grades 6 –12 at Kellogg Middle and Senior Schools.

BUS NO. 3 – WARNDER – KELLOGG –McKinley AVE. – MISSON AVE

Bus leaves garage at 6:55 for Shoshone Airport Road, into Kellogg to 115 Portland Ave up to Division Street stopping at Division and Market in route to Warnder City Hall turning around at 7:05. Picking up grades 6 – 12 traveling down Warnder Hill. The bus then proceeds to the end of McKinley Ave. Will arrive at Kellogg Middle and Senior High Schools by 7:25. Once unloaded this bus will travel back to Division Ave (early bus) Loading Sunnyside Elementary students at 7:30 on Mission Ave stopping at Mission & Division, 123 Mission  (Headstart) Mission & Rose, Last stop Mission and Utah arriving at Sunnyside School at 7:45.

BUS NO. 19 – UPTOWN KELLOGG – WARNDER 

Bus will leave the garage area at 7:00 traveling to Warnder City Hall to turn around. Loading Sunnyside elementary students K – 5th on the way down Warnder Hill.  Traveling down Main Street to 700 block, turning to Division (Post Office) then east on Portland (Amy Lynns) Thorn  and East Idaho St. at approximately 7:15.  Continuing to McKinley at the end of West McKinley bus turns around at the old Bunker Hill parking lot. From there the bus goes straight to Sunnyside School arriving at 7:40

BUS NO. 22 – UPTOWN KELLOGG – KELLOGG AVE - EAST CAMERON –  MISSION AVE – Special Needs

Bus will leave the garage area at 7:15 traveling to Kellogg on Main Street, loading a combination of grades, Kellogg Ave (Catholic Church) by 7:20. Returning to Division Street. Division & Cameron turning east on Cameron, then on Thorn Street going to the intersection of Riverside & Oak. Once on Mission Ave continues to load students at the Fire Aux. Station, corner of Mission & Rose St. arriving at Sunnyside School at 7:40

BUS NO. 17 – MONTGOMERY GULCH – ELIZ. PK – BISARO PK

Bus departs the garage at 7:05 traveling to upper end of Montgomery Gulch. Picking up grades K –12. The bus loads students coming down the gulch also stopping at Robins Lane. On to Elizabeth Pk Loop for the transfer of students at 7:25  Grades 6 – 12 need to ride this bus. The bus then travels west on Silver Valley Road stopping at the East & West End of Bisaro Trailer CT. staying on Silvervalley Road. Continuing into Kellogg stopping by the Miners’ Hat for grades 6 –12.  Arriving at Kellogg Middle & Senior Schools by 7:40 

BUS NO. 7 – BIG CREEK – MOON GULCH – ELIZ. PK – BISARO

Bus departs garage area at 6:45 traveling to the top of Big Creek, turning around in the Sunshine Parking lot at 7:00. Picking up grades K –12 as the bus continues to the State Barnes. From there the bus travels to the top of West Fork Moon Gulch at 7:15 Traveling down Moon Gulch stopping at the Elk Creek Pond and Elk Creek Store by 7:20  Onto Elizabeth Park Loop for transfer of students. Grades K – 5 ride this bus to Sunnyside School via Bisaros Trailer Court, traveling through the court to load elementary students. This bus will continue on Cameron Ave. and Brown Street arriving at Sunnyside School by 7:35    

BUS NO. 18:      WEIR GULCH ~ SMELTERVILLE

Bus leave garage at 7:10 Travels into Smelterville loading a Special Needs person. Continues into Pinehurst to Ohio Street crosses 3rd St. bridge into Weir Gulch area loading all grades. Unloads at Pinehurst School at 7:30. Continues back through Smelterville at 7:40 into Kellogg arriving at 7:45.

PM BUS SCHEDULES

NO. 4:  WEST RIVERVIEW, FAST HILL, CANYON RD  TO CATALDO – CATALDO GULCH- LATOUR CK

**  Students who attend Middle/High schools who live in the Rose Lake area need to ride this bus. Transferring in Cataldo to bus No 15 (Amy)  

Bus departs Kellogg High School at 3:22 with grades 6-12 traveling to Kingston exit. Traveling on West Riverview into Cataldo for transfer at 3:45. All grades living Up Latour Creek, Dudley, and Cataldo Gulch will ride this bus. KMS students needing a
Ride to Cataldo please ride bus #9  (slot #1) for ride to the HS  ~ Bus No 4 parks  behind #9 at the high school.

NO. 9: PINEHURST SCHOOL ~ REINOEHL ROAD ~ KINGSTON POST OFFICE ~ ALBERT’S PLACE ~ OLD SIDE RIVER ROAD:

Bus departs Kellogg Middle School at 3:12 with grades 6 – 8 travels up to Kellogg High School for pick up of grades 9 – 12. Leaving KHS at 3:22 this bus travels by interstate to Pinehurst exit. Stopping at Pinehurst School, 3rd & Wyoming St, continues to Reinoehl & Pete’s Rd, Kingston Post Office in route to Old Side River Road.

BUS NO 6: PINEHURST (Pioneer Lodge) PINEHURST SCHOOL ~ EAST RIVERVIEW ~ NEW SIDE RIVER ROAD:

Leaves Kellogg Middle School at 3:12 with grades 6 – 8. Travels up to Kellogg High School for loading of  9 – 12 grades. Leaving KHS at 3:22 traveling by interstate to Pinehurst Exit. Once in Pinehurst this bus will stop behind Pioneer Lodge, Pinehurst City Park AND Pinehurst School.  Crossing Shipplet Overpass to East Riverview (High school students who live on the north side of I-90 by the old Kingston high school need to ride this bus). Continues to Enaville (Snake pit) Resort staying on the New Side River road to Cole Creek area.    (13 Mile Marker)

NO. 15:   WAITING IN CATALDO TAMARACK RIDGE ~ ROSE LAKE ~  KILARNEY LAKE

Transfer of students grades 6 –12 at 3:45. Once transfer is complete, this bus travels to lower Old River Road, Tamarack Ridge, S. Doyle Road, Highway #3, and Rose Lake and Kilarney Lake turn-around, continuing to North Doyle Road. Returning to Cataldo

BUS NO 24: PINEHURST ~  N. DIVISION ST. ~ BAUMAN ADDITION – W.  RIVERVIEW RD -  HUNT GULCH- LOUMA ADDITION & FRENCH  GULCH

Bus leaves Kellogg Middle School with grades 6 – 9 at 3:12 travels to the high school loading grades 9 – 12. Leaves at 3:22 travels by interstate to Pinehurst exit stopping at KOA Campground, Division/Lewiston,(Pat’s Gas) continuing to Bauman Addition areas, Wright Road on to West Riverview Road, Fast Hill, Hilltop, Hunt Gulch, Louma Addition and French Gulch

BUS NO. 22: AMY LYN COMPLEX - MOON GULCH – BIG CREEK

Bus departs Kellogg Middle School at 3:12 with grades 6 – 8 travels to the high school for grades 9 –12. Leaving at 3:22 this bus travels to Brown Street and West Cameron Ave, Portland Ave, Division Street stopping in the area of  (Catholic Church) Kellogg Ave. Continuing to Elk Creek, Moon Gulch and Big Creek.

BUS NO. 3: SMELTERVILLE – PAGE HILL

Bus departs Kellogg Middle School at 3:12 with grades 6 – 8.  Travels to Kellogg High School for grades 9- 12. Leaving the high school at 3:22 traveling to County Airport, Smelterville, Upper and Lower Page Hill.

BUS NO. 7: LADHE HILL ~ S. DIVISION ST. ~ WIER GULCH ~ EAST &  WEST FORKS OF PINECREEK

Bus leaves Kellogg Middle School at 3:12 with grades 6 –8 and travels to the high school. Loading grades 9 –12 buses leave at 3:22. This bus travels to Pinehurst unloading students for Ladhe Hill/Vet’s Road. Continues into Pinehurst past 4-way stop.  Stops at Division/Sunset (Hi-Co Station), and Division/Maple. Turning west on Ohio St crossing 3rd St bridge into Weir Gulch before continuing up Pine Creek.

BUS NO. 21: PINEHURST SCHOOL – FAIRWAY HEIGHTS

Bus leaves Kellogg Middle School at 3:12 with grades 6 – 8 travels to the high school loads grades 9 – 12 leaving at 3:22 for Pinehurst. Unloading students on Dike & Lewiston, Pinehurst School, 3rd St & Wyoming Street, intersection of Division & Sunset onto Fairway Hts. Stopping at Crescent Drive.

BUS NO. 19: WARNDER – UPTOWN KELLOGG – McKINLEY

Bus leaves Kellogg Middle School at 3:12 with grades 6 –8 travels to the high school. Loads grades 9 –12 leaving the area at 3:22 for Warnder. Turning around at Warnder City Hall stopping on their way down the hill. Continues down Main Street turning on McKinley Ave. turns around at the old Bunker Parking Lot.

BUS NO. 17:  MISSION AVE – BISARO TRAILER CT –ELIZABETH  PARK – MONTGOMERY GULCH

Bus departs Kellogg Middle School at 3:20 with grades 6 – 8  travels to the high school. Loads grades 9 – 12. This bus travels down Mission Ave stopping at Mission & Utah (little park) Mission & Rose, Headstart area and Mission & Division. Continues down east Cameron Ave by Les Schwabs, Miners Hat and into Bisaro trailer court, Elizabeth Pk Loop, Robins Lane and Montgomery Gulch.  

NO. 1: CATALDO – CANYON ROAD – SERVICE CREEK

Bus departs Kellogg Middle School at 3:12  travels to Cataldo by way of Silver Valley Road. Once the bus arrives at Cataldo it waits for transfer of students at 3:45. Then continues on Canyon Road to Hardy Loop, School House Loop, Fern Creek, Service Creek and Robins Lane.

ELEMENTARY  ROUTES

CANYON  SCHOOL

Bus 15:   ROSE LAKE – KILARNEY – TAMARACK RIDGE

Bus departs Canyon School at 2:52 with grades K –5 traveling to Highway 3. Rose Lake, Bull Run Bridge, Rose Creek, ilarney Lake turn around. North & South Doyle Roads, Meadow Road, Tamarack Ridge, Old River Road, on to Cataldo. All Latour Creek students ride this bus, transferring over to Bus No.4 at 3:45 for Latour Creek area.

Bus Departs Pinehurst School at 2:25 deadheads to Cataldo proceeds to Canyon School Bus departs Canyon School at 2:52 with grades K –5 traveling to Bently Creek, Service Creek and Robins Road. Doubles back on Canyon Road to Hardy Creek and Wallridge. Continues east on Canyon Road via Cataldo cross Hilltop bridge to Silver Valley Road, Louma Addition into Pinehurst

Bus departs Pinehurst with grades K – 5  at 2:37. All students living above Enaville old & new sides of the river are to ride this bus to Kellogg for transfer at Kellogg Middle School.  G/T students will ride this bus back to Kellogg.  Kellogg Middle School by 3:05.

Bus departs PHS with grades K –5 at 2:37. This bus travels up and over Page Hill on to Smelterville stopping on ‘K’ Street for the trailer court, Washington Street stopping in the 400 block area, turns on ‘D’ Street going across Main Street to Northview stopping at the old Church and Smelterville City Park. This bus then travels into Kellogg for pickup of older grades.
