Office Hours
Beginning June 7th - June 18th, KMS will have office hours from 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday thru Friday. We will be closed all of July and return back to work on August 18th. Have a great summer!
Summer School at KMS
- Date: June 14 - 25, Monday through Friday
- Time: 8:00am to 2:30pm
- Who can attend: KMS students grades 6-8 (students where summer school is required to be promoted to the next grade are taken first).
- Cost: $50.00 includes a nutritional snack, lunch, bussing and instruction.
- Make checks payable to: KMS
Please register your student by June 4 at the KMS office.
Fall Registration for Returning Students
All students' grades 6-8 will need to register on August 26th from 9:00 to 11:00am, 1:00-3:00pm or 5:00-7:00pm. We will be doing our Open House on this date as well, so come out and meet the teachers your child will have this year.
New students to the district can register on August 25 from 9:00 to11:00am.
If you are not able to come in during those times, please call the office to set up an appointment to register your child.
8th Grade Completion Ceremony
If you are planning to attend the 8th grade completion ceremony, it will be at 1:30 on June 3. We have limited parking, so please try to carpool as much as possible. Please do not arrive early as the doors will not be opened until 1:10. Cake and refreshments will be served in the cafeteria for guests and 8th grade students following the ceremony in the cafeteria.
The 8th grade dance will be from 6:00 to 9:00pm the same day as the completion ceremony. Only KMS 8th grade students who have gone through the completion ceremony will be allowed to attend. No students from other schools can attend the dance. Remember 8th grade students this will be your last day of school. Do not show up for school on June 4. Any 8th grade student at school on June 4 will be asked to leave.
