The Aztec vs. The Tolili
“As we charge the field on this muggy summer day I get a glimpse of the Tolili warriors waiting for us. The fact that they would want to battle the mighty Aztec warriorers makes me laugh inside, but I push that feeling to the pit of my stomach and let my rage build. As we grow nearer to the field they become scared and make the mistake of making the first move a lone arrow is shot from the Tolili side of the field, but it is only a warning so it misses but just barely for they are trying to scare us. We keep marching toward the Tolili as we do our army is so massive it makes the ground tremble beneath our feet. The Tolili feel the great quaking from our army.”
“You can tell by the looks on their faces that they are feeling a great quiver of fear run down their spines for they know what is to come next battle and then defeat it feels almost wrong to have to fight these men who don’t have a chance but it is my duty to my civilization. I will admit there are a few brave men who believe they have a chance and I commend them on there confidence but the smart ones the ones that would be better off as an astrologers or something of that sort know they have no chance. Their only fighting because they were told to because it’s better than being a disgrace to their civilization or being sacrificed. Bam! then it happens our armies clashed like the sea clashes with the shore. The battle rages on more Tolili have fallen than Aztec. The only reason they are still in this battle is because they out number us, but we have skill and the help of the gods on our side. So we shall surely win. “
“I’m slashing at people left and right. Nobody has been able to hit me yet. I’m as fast as a jaguar. I feel unstoppable, I feel invincible.” “Out of nowhere come arrows showering down from the sky.” “They kill many of our Aztec and many of the Tolili warriors, but we keep fighting on I am wounded from the attack of arrows I was hit in the left thigh.” “I start to feel very dizzy I have lost a lot of blood everything starts to get dark and then everything goes dark.” “What happens next grandpa Teleroco umm I’m sorry children I have forgotten but, this does lead me to a good point make sure to take paper and pencil to battle so that you can write everything down?”
