The Idaho Farm Bureau is offering 8 $750 scholarships. (Four in the Non-Ag related field of study & 4 in the Ag related field of study). The Kootenai-Shoshone Farm Bureau is also offering one $1,500 Ag related Scholarship. Students can apply for both County & State awards. Parents must be members of the Farm Bureau. Planning to attend North Idaho College? General Scholarship applications are on-line or at counseling center. Priority deadline March 16. NIC has recently changed their scholarships and are now offering new ones, such as the Presidential scholarship. The Associated Logging Contractors (ALC) is offering two $1,000 scholarships. Both scholarships require the applicant to be related to logging by either a family connection or through sponsorship by a member of the ALC. The Heartflite Scholarship is available for students who are going into the medical field. The Dave Kludt-ALC Natural Resource Scholarship is for students who are going into an occupation in the natural resource field. Applications can be found in the counseling office.
