The American Legion’s College Financial Aid Handbook, “Need a Lift?” is available at the counseling center. This is a magazine containing information of various scholarship sources.

The $20,000 KFC Colonel’s Scholarship is available to a graduating senior with financial need and an entrepreneurial spirit. Planning to attend Boise State University? The Albertson’s Foundation has just given $1 million dollars for a new scholarship. The “Go ON” scholarship is $5,000 for 4 years. No special application necessary. Apply to BSU, have FAFSA submitted, and turn-in the BSU Supplemental Scholarship Application before February 15.

The Idaho Farm Bureau is offering 8 $750 scholarships. (Four in the Non-Ag related field of study & 4 in the Ag related field of study). NIC has recently changed their scholarships and are now offering new ones, such as the Presidential scholarship.
