John & Lilian Luoma Scholarship Selection Criteria

The following criteria is used for the John and Lilian Luoma Scholarship:

  1. Scholarships would go to deserving students from Shoshone County going to the University of Idaho.
  2. Priority of selection will be give to entering freshman.
  3. Six scholarships of approximately $800.00 each will be given annually. Two scholarship will be awarded to each of the three high schools in the county.
  4. Selection of recipients will be made by a committee of the three principals of the Mullan, Wallace and Kellogg High Schools.
  5. Applications should be turned in to either a principal or counselor of the respective schools by February 12.
  6. A student's financial need will be considered only in case of ties.
