Citizen Advisory Group Meetings Scheduled

The trustees of Kellogg Joint School District #391 are very interested in the opinions and suggestions of local citizens.  They have set aside three dates at three different locations in the district for citizens of the district to come and talk with them about the following:

  • An outline of the school district's financial status and what has been done to cut back and economize so far.
  • Citizen thoughts about what programs/staff the district should keep and those areas that should be cut to make up the loss of the Craig-Wyden funds and declining state funding.
  • Citizen thoughts regarding the upcoming March supplemental levy amount and what programs and/or staffing support that should be provided for the children of the district.
  • Suggestions that would help the district provide the most economical and best quality programs for district students.

The dates that the board will be available are:

Thursday, February 21st - Pinehurst Elementary - 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday, February 27th - Canyon Elementary - 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Thursday, February 28th - Kellogg Middle School - 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
